We're looking for three or four student organizations to co-present NOT FROM HERE — a ticketed show at a venue off campus, Research Triangle, fall 2027.
This is structured as your event, not our favour. Your organization gets its own link, keeps half of every ticket that link sells, and is guaranteed a floor whether it sells anything or not. It costs you nothing either way, because your members aren't the buyer — the audience is.
Ninety minutes of arena rock, played by a full working band, with the setlist ranked live by the room from their phones. Eighty seconds of the last one is on the front page.
Your organization gets its own code. Every ticket bought through it is credited to you, tracked automatically, and paid within 14 days of the show. The other half funds the production — so the better your link does, the better we both do.
Paid whether your link sells one ticket or two hundred, and paid even if we cancel. It's a floor, not a cap — if your link sells more than that, you keep more.
We pay for the band, venue, production, sound, lights, insurance and marketing. Your organization is never invoiced and never exposed. There is no scenario where this costs you money.
At a room of 250 at $20 a ticket, an organization working its list actively lands somewhere around $600–900 — and cannot end the night with less than $500. The floor and the split cross at about fifty tickets, which is roughly what a chapter that actually works its list delivers.
You don't write anything, design anything, sell anything at a table, or staff the door.
Send your members one link: a four-minute page where they tell us which songs they'd actually sing along to, and rank a sample ballot the way the room will on the night. The set that gets played is built out of what comes back — from your campus, not from a guess about it. Students who answer get first claim on the free tickets.
It costs you one post, it commits you to nothing, and by the time your board sits down to decide you'll already know what your own members said. You'd get your own version of the link, so every answer that comes back is credited to you — the same way the ticket link works.
At a room of 250 at $20 a ticket, an organization working its list lands around $600–900. And you have a $500 floor — paid even if your link sells nothing, paid even if we cancel. You cannot end this with less than $500.
Realistically: a handful of posts, two emails to your list, and mentioning it at your meetings. We supply every word and image you'd send, eight weeks ahead.
Then you keep the $500 and we learn something. If selling isn't the right shape for your organization at all, co-sponsor a campus date instead — same show, no ticket link, nothing to sell. Ask us about it.
No. You're never invoiced, never a signatory on the venue, and never responsible for the door. If we cancel, your $500 is still paid. The guarantee is only void if your organization withdraws.
No. We never see it. Attendance is measured through your tracking link, and anyone who wants to hear about future shows opts in themselves.
No, and that's a design constraint rather than a disclaimer — the show stops working the moment a room divides into teams. Nobody is named, endorsed, or asked to sign up for anything, and there's no table in the lobby. We'll send your advisor the full script before you commit to anything.

If your organization can't take revenue directly — some have to route through a university account, and some have philanthropy requirements — say so early. We can point your share at a named charity instead. It's a per-partner thing, not a catch.
Tell us your organization and roughly how many people you can reach. We'll send the reel, the script, and a one-page terms sheet. No commitment in the first email.
